Super Cool Biz: bikinis and Speedos
The Moooo! Bar on Shiraishi Island has announced that it will join the Japanese government’s Super Cool Biz campaign by encouraging people to wear bikinis and Speedos. “We discourage people from coming to the beach wrapped in layers and layers of clothing, including arm covers, gloves, hats and umbrellas,” says Dazey May, Head Cow at the Moooo! Bar.
“We have also banned the use of the phrase “Atsui desu ne!” (“It’s so hot!”). By dressing in the skimpiest clothing possible and by learning proper relaxation techniques such as lying in a hammock with a frozen Moogarita in one hand, we hope people will realize that it’s actually not that hot,” she mooed.
